For Her was designed to address all the challenges that the modern-day woman must face daily. This includes the most prominent possible underlying health issues that manifests as fatigue, sexual inadequacy or dysfunction and psychological symptoms (depression, stress, brain fog and anger).

From puberty a woman must navigate fluctuating hormone levels. Painful menses (PMS), polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), prenatal, postnatal, menopause and post-menopause. During and after menopause testosterone production in women decreases. Low testosterone levels have the following symptoms that are very similar to low oestrogen level: sluggishness, muscle weakness, fatigue, sleep disturbances, weight gain, reduced libido and decreased sexual satisfaction. There are 2 Biomarkers that are used by the medical profession to determine if you have cardiovascular disease (CVD) Homocysteine levels (Hcy) and C-Reactive protein (CRP). High Hcy and CRP levels are indicative of CVD.

Hcy has 2 pathways through which it is metabolized.
1.    If the patient has the correct vitamins and minerals (co-factors VitB2, B6, Folic acid, B12 and betaine) then Hcy is metabolised to SAMe (S-Adenosyl-L-Methionine). SAMe is very important for brain chemical synthesis and breakdown, (serotonin, melatonin and dopamine) balancing of hormones and maintaining cell membranes.
2.    If the necessary co-factors are absent Hcy are broken down into LDL or bad cholesterol. LDL is responsible for arterial plaque formation and buildup.
