Plain-English terms covering HTMA testing services from Precision Health Testing. Please read this in full before purchasing.
Important — read first. Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) is not a diagnostic test. It is not regulated as a medical device in New Zealand and is not covered by health insurance, ACC, or other social services. Gary Moller is a Natural Health Practitioner and is not a registered medical practitioner under the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act. By placing an order with us you confirm you have read and understood this notice in addition to the terms below.
"PHT", "we", "our", and "us" refers to Precision Health Testing, the practice of Gary Moller, operating from 15 Heaton Terrace, Brooklyn, Wellington 6021, New Zealand.
"You" or "Client" refers to the person placing an order, completing a Health Questionnaire, or attending a consultation. If you are ordering on behalf of a child, partner, or other party, you confirm you have authority to do so and you remain responsible under these terms.
By placing an order, you accept these Terms & Conditions in full, together with our Privacy Policy.
We offer the following:
Precision Health Testing is a testing and interpretation practice and does not sell supplements. Where Gary's protocol recommends specific products, you source those separately.
Pricing is in New Zealand Dollars and includes GST at the prevailing rate where applicable. International clients are invoiced in NZD.
HTMA is not a diagnostic test. Reports and recommendations provided by PHT are educational and supportive in nature. They do not constitute medical diagnosis, prescription, or treatment, and are not a substitute for advice from a registered medical practitioner. We do not diagnose disease, treat disease, or claim to cure any condition.
You should not stop, start, or change any prescribed medication based on our reports without first consulting the doctor who prescribed it. If you are unwell or in a medical crisis, contact your GP, local emergency services, or in NZ call Healthline 0800 611 116.
Our services are not covered by health insurance, ACC, or social services in New Zealand or any other jurisdiction.
Every order requires you to complete our Mandatory Health Questionnaire before your sample can be analysed. The questionnaire covers your medical history, medications, current symptoms, lifestyle, and goals.
An order is formed when payment is received and you receive an order confirmation email. Until that point, no contract exists. We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion, including (without limitation) where the Health Questionnaire indicates HTMA is unsuitable, where prior client behaviour gives rise to concern, or where supply chain issues prevent fulfilment.
Prices may change from time to time but the price you pay is the price published at the moment of checkout.
We accept payment via Stripe (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and other major schemes). Card details are entered directly with Stripe; we never see, store, or process your full card number. Apple Pay and Google Pay are supported where available.
Test fees are paid in full at the time of order. Where a client is invited to book a one-to-one consultation post-report, that fee is paid via the private booking link.
Once your Health Questionnaire is reviewed:
You are responsible for collecting your sample correctly per the supplied instructions and for returning it to our Wellington practice address. Samples are at your risk in transit until they arrive at our practice. We strongly recommend tracked or signed-for postage for international returns.
From our practice we courier samples to ARL Laboratories (Texas, USA) within 2 business days of receipt. Once with the lab, samples remain at the lab's risk under their normal terms.
Indicative turnaround from sample arrival at ARL is 14–21 calendar days, plus practitioner review and protocol writing of typically 5–7 calendar days. Total time from kit dispatch to receiving your protocol is typically 4–8 weeks depending on geography.
Any timing references on our website are estimates given in good faith. We are not liable for delays caused by postal services, customs, laboratory backlogs, force majeure events, or factors outside our reasonable control.
One-to-one consultations with Gary are not publicly bookable. They are made available to clients post-report via a private booking link sent with the report. Consultations are delivered remotely via Google Meet or, by arrangement, in person at the Wellington practice.
7-day money-back guarantee: all orders are covered by a 7-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase, no questions asked. If you change your mind for any reason within 7 days of placing your order, email gary@precisionhealthtesting.com with your order number and we'll refund you in full (less any payment processing fees deducted by Stripe).
Beyond the 7-day window, our refund position depends on where you are in the process:
To request a refund, email gary@precisionhealthtesting.com with your order number. Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days to the original payment method.
If you are a consumer ordering for personal use in New Zealand, your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986 are not limited or excluded by these terms. To the extent that any provision in these terms is inconsistent with those statutory rights, those statutory rights prevail.
If you are purchasing as part of a business, you confirm you are not acquiring the goods or services as a consumer for the purposes of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. You agree the protections of that Act do not apply to your purchase.
